Homelab buildout

Slowly turning a pile of parts into something I'd actually trust. Just migrated to Proxmox, and now I'm sorting out backups that don't rely on optimism. The dream is two quiet nodes and a NAS that I never have to think about.

Hunting a mini PC

Watching the local listings for a small, low-power second node. Patient about it. The right box at the right price will turn up eventually — and when it does I'll probably overthink the RAM for a week before buying.

Tinkering, generally

Re-learning enough networking to do VLANs properly instead of the flat mess I have now. Also keeping half an eye on resale — nothing serious, just the occasional flip when something underpriced crosses my feed.
